Steam free download is a 9/10 RPG you'll never want to put down

How can we say no to a deal this good???

RPG fans everywhere, hear ye, hear ye: on Steam there’s a high rated RPG free download available.

Steam has a wonderful collection of titles to choose from, some of which are completely free.

Although the full game we speak of isn’t free, its PC demo is; considering this is a very positively reviewed experience, we're impressed.

“You can play the ENORMOUS demo and definitely know for sure if you want to buy this game or not,” a reviewer shared.

“I played the demo, bought the game the second I hit the end of it (something like 14 hours in), and never looked back.”

The game they’re talking about is Dragon Quest Builders 2.

Check out the launch trailer for Dragon Quest Builders 2 below.

Players looking to dive into this acclaimed adventure will discover a thoroughly delightful sandbox RPG.

In the words of Steam, “Explore, battle, build and harvest in the charming single-player campaign or build big projects in the online sandbox mode for up to four-players.”

This Square Enix might not be the sprawling fantastical tales you’re familiar with from other RPGs, however, it delivers much charm, an intriguing story, and beloved characters.

And although it’s a sequel, as far as the devs are concerned this is a “standalone experience”.

Even if you’ve never played a Dragon Quest game before, you’ll soon feel right at home.

As we stated earlier, the free part of this game is its demo only; if you want to play the full game, you’ll need to spend £39.99.

Still, despite an eventual cost looming, as the reviewer from before said, the demo is incredibly generous.

Console players looking to experience this demo are in luck, too. Well, at least Nintendo Switch and PlayStation players are; unfortunately, we couldn’t find a demo on Xbox.

Nevertheless, while you can play on a console instead, Steam’s version is the cheapest deal you’ll find should you purchase the full game.
