Microsoft is currently dominating PlayStation’s best-sellers, which is weirdly devoid of first-party Sony games.
I’m of the opinion that console-wars and console-loyalty are outdated concepts that do more harm than good for the wider games industry, though I’m sure the more tribal Xbox fans will be pleased to know Microsoft’s pivot to third-party is serving them well so far.

As I’m sure many are aware, Xbox's first-party offerings haven’t been the best as of late, and it's in desperate need of some banger exclusives if it wants to keep pace with Sony.

That being said, the company recently decided to make some of its exclusive titles available on PlayStation consoles, including Grounded, Sea Of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment.
While it was met with criticism from fans who feared this would be the end of Xbox exclusives as we know them, it turned out to be a stroke of genius for the company.
Microsoft now apparently has more games on PlayStation’s best-selling list than Sony does, as two Fallout games and two of the above exclusives are holding firm places on the chart.
Derek Struckland, who shared the news on Twitter, went on to say that the best-selling list is a clear indication of Microsoft and Sony being “as cooperative as they are competitive,” as “Microsoft is using what Sony has to sell games, and Sony is also taking a cut of every sale.”

Many fans now believe that, for better or for worse, the future of Xbox depends on it supplying more of its games for PlayStation 5 players, probably making now a better time than ever to jump ship to Sony if you haven’t already.
