Steam Is Offering A Free 2020 Game Right Now, But Not For Long

Steam is offering up one of 2020's lesser-known releases for the low, low price of nothing - but if you want it, you'll have to get in quick to claim it.

I confess that Warhammer Underworlds: Online flew under my radar last year, but it's currently free to download and keep via Steam. The only catch is that you have until 6pm BST tonight (June 10) to claim it. After that, you'll have to go back to paying £8 for it or entirely forgetting it exists. Whichever comes naturally.

Take a look at a trailer for the game below to get a good idea on whether or not it's right for you:

"Lead your fighters to Glory in the ultimate PvP dice-and-cards strategy combat game," reads the game's official description. "Warhammer Underworlds: Online pits mighty warbands against one another in an eternal battle for glory in the realms of the Age of Sigmar."

To claim the game, simply head to Steam and download. It's that simple. You should probably be aware that the brunt of recent reviews are all negative, but this could well be from the large influx of people who picked it up while it was free and still fancied having a moan. You can't please everyone.

"I'd say get this game now, for FREE, while you still can," wrote one user in one of the few positive reviews posted in the last few days. "I installed it today, (thanks for the free copy btw!) but I've played more than 70+ games of the original, tabletop miniatures game with all of its warbands, maps, cards, everything in-between and boy oh boy, comparing that to this game........is going to be Khorneflakingly brrrrruuuutal!"

If you want to read up on some of the other reviews and make a decision you can do so here. Personally, I'm gonna take advantage of the fact it's free and make up my own mind. But you do you.
