I’m not sure if you’ve been paying attention to the world of gaming, but there’s this new release called Palworld that’s causing quite a stir.
Referred to by fans as “Pokémon with guns”, Palworld has absolutely blown up on Steam over the past week. Its blend of survival elements and clear Pokémon, erm… influences, is one that has really struck a chord with gamers.
Except as you may be aware, a lot of people really aren’t happy with Palworld, and have accused developer Pocketpair of completely ripping off designs. The Pokémon Company has even been forced to respond, and plans to investigate.
Into the white hot heart of this discourse I stride, boldly, to offer the following: The Pokémon most likely to chase Pocketpair down and seek damages over Palworld. I know. You’re so welcome.

Really I guess you could see this as a rundown of the ten most litigious Pokémon, which is not a list I’d ever thought I’d write. But like Nintendo lawyers to a Pikachu-themed Birthday party, life comes at you fast.
Pikachu
An easy one to start with, this. We all know Pikachu is a media whore, never missing a chance to get his face on the news. We’ll see him on This Morning next week crying to whoever is actually presenting that show these days. Dermot ‘O Leary?

Sobble
Let’s be honest, Sobble doesn’t know what’s going on. Poor thing has been cornered by some bloodthirsty IP lawyers who are going to charge him by the hour and take 80 percent of whatever they can get.
Eevee
Eevee might be an adorable sweet baby child on the surface, but those cartoonishly eyes bely a stone-cold killer waiting to take you for everything you have. Eevee has a legal team that will take your house just for looking at them the wrong way.

Not actually bothered about suing anyone, just wants to use his little mailbag to carry around important legal documents.
Totoro
Okay, so this one isn’t actually a Pokémon, but I’m certain the star of My Neighbour Totoro isn’t exactly thrilled his distant cousin Grizzbolt is running around gunning people down. I’d have advised him to keep his distance till the situation blows over, but Totoro has his own people.
