Romesh Ranganathan And Rob Beckett Face Off In Our Gaming Quiz

Romesh Ranganathan And Rob Beckett Face Off In Our Gaming Quiz

The comedians go head to head

Those of you who watch TV - and we know, a lot of you do - may be interested to know that a new, fourth season of Rob & Romesh Vs starts on Sky today, April 28. At 9pm UK time, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, regulars on the UK’s live comedy circuit and all manner of panel shows, will pit their wits - and, more pertinently, their muscles - against a host of strongmen as the pair go head to head to see who’s the strongest. There will be: scenic shots of Iceland. There will also be: grunting, definitely. And former world’s strongest man Magnús Ver Magnússon will be there, too.

The two have been facing off against one another in this series since 2019. In that time they’ve dabbled in professional NBA basketball, ballet, the fashion world, country music, golf and the circus. What they’ve never had to do before, however, is prove their video gaming knowledge to an online audience. Well, that changes now. Ahead of the premiere of Vs season four, we challenged Rob and Romesh to show us who was the nerdiest nerd, the gamiest gamer, the most well-played of players. It’s sort of like Sonic vs Mario, only, not - although both of those mascots will get a mention.

You can expect: iconic enemies, confusion over backsides, and complaints that we’re simply too old for the (checks notes) 36-year-old Beckett. He may have a point, but that’s not going to stop his partner in Vs competition from gloating when he trips over a question.

Find more on Vs at the show’s official site. Cheers to Rob and Romesh for being good sports. If the player embedded on this page isn’t working for you, or you’d simply prefer to watch this content elsewhere, you’ll soon find it on our YouTube page, too.
