Popular Twitch streamer and YouTuber Kristina "Kika" Dukic has passed away. She was just 21 years old.
Known by her fans as "K1KA" and "Kika" on Twitch and YouTube, Dukic had more recently found success in streaming Counter Strike: Global Offensive and League Of Legends. But when she started her YouTube channel back in 2015, her main focus was on Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V. Over the years Dukic amassed over 705,000 subscribers on YouTube and 44.5 thousand Twitch followers.
Dukic's death was confirmed by her family on social media. Using the streamer's account, an Instagram Story revealed that she was found dead on December 8.
"This will be a hard time for us all and all we can do is keep her memory alive," the post read. "We love you Kika and miss you more than words can explain."
The streamer's cause of death was not explicitly stated in the post, but local media has reported that Dukic died by suicide. Police are said to have found her "lifeless body" and no signs of a struggle or violence. The Instagram message also ended by saying: "If you are having suicidal thoughts or suffering from depression please speak to someone you are not alone."
Dukic's YouTube career was a varied one, with uploads that would range from playing her favourite video games to simply hanging out with friends and family. In one of her most popular videos by far with 3.5 million views, Dukic's mum accidentally lights her hair on fire.
GAMINGbible would like to extend its condolences to Dukic's friends, family, and many fans at this difficult time.
