'Spider-Man' PC Mods Have Already Landed, And There Are Some Amazing Ones

Flying rats is one more sign of the end times.

Terrible, terrific mods have touched down onto Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered thanks to the creativity of PC players.

From the sounds of it, the game is unmissable no matter which way you choose to play. "Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is absolutely gorgeous," said James in his review of the latest version of the adventure. "Playing on PC with headphones and an Xbox controller, I was in awe of the visual fidelity the entire time. The game is as beautiful as ever, and it’s even more impressive given the size of the in-game world."

Check out Tom Holland's workout routine that schwipped him into shape to play the friendly neighbourhood hero!

James isn't alone in his praise for the game's excellent mechanics and eye-popping graphics as well as its affecting story. So isn't it heartwarming to see PC players vandalise New York with a sprinkling of exceedingly cursed creations.

There's this one from modder Zafite that turns all of the pigeons into pizza slices. This is the preferable option, in my opinion, to Skull198's offering that bestows the rats of the city with the blessing of flight.

I don't mind rats at all because they're just living their lives, right? But I would respect a bit of distance between the two of us, because New York rats have been found to carry bacteria that can cause disease in humans, including bubonic plague. Imagine being Peter and swinging through the city and suddenly you're slapped about the face with a plague rat.

Alternatively, you can be bedecked in the Symbiote suit that we're likely to see in the sequel. Or, play as Stan Lee, or Kingpin, or Black Cat. This is but the tip of the iceberg of the mods we're yet to see, I'm sure.
