The Fallout TV show is finally here and it’s currently rated as one of the best adaptations of all-time. Sitting at 93% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, Fallout is proving to be a hit that has already been greenlit for a second season.
While many of us may have been skeptical, it appears Fallout was in great hands at Amazon Studios, as reviews are overwhelmingly positive across the board.
We got together with the cast of Fallout for a little fun in the wasteland
Fallout stars Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Moten, along with Twin Peaks megastar Kyle MacLachlan.

The score on Rotten Tomatoes is a good indicator that fans will be thrilled with the adaptation as it sits up there with The Last of Us from HBO. Is this a turning point in video game adaptations?
It helps that Bethesda’s Todd Howard helped to oversee production and believed the game was always ideal for a jump to TV.

It feels like a ‘pinch me’ moment as gamers have had it pretty rough over the years with so many attempts to transfer great games to TV or film falling flat. Thankfully, we have The Last of Us, Halo - albeit the second season over the first - and now Fallout. So what’s next?
We asked Todd Howard whether The Elder Scrolls would work for TV and he didn’t give us a ‘no.’ Perhaps we’re now entering an era of great adaptations and we’re here for it.
