Who doesn’t like to treat themself now and then? When it comes to our birthdays, it’s a common occurrence to give yourself little gifts too. Maybe it’s that set of headphones you’ve been longing for, or perhaps a nice takeaway you’re craving. And for others like Amouranth, you may just spend $1 million on yourself, just because you can.
As reported by Dexerto, Amouranth, one of the most popular female streamers on Twitch, has revealed her birthday present to herself. And as you’ve seen, it cost her a hefty $1 million. You may think, okay is it a house? A garage of cars? What costs you a clean mil in this day and age? Well for her birthday, Amouranth decided to treat herself to stock.

The tweet on her personal Twitter account WildKait, says: “I bought myself a million dollars of Visa Stock for my birthday!” The two pictures attached prove that she indeed owns 5400 shares in Visa which totals about $1 million. Visa is a pretty safe bet too, not like investing in certain crypto or NFTs, so it’s a smart move.
A lot of people are criticizing me for lack of diversification. visa $V is my SMALLEST position.

I still have many many months worth of $1m earnings held as “dry powder” in case the market swoons (we can only hope!)

In response, there are those who actually want her to get into making finance-related content. She’s obviously great at multitasking, putting money in advantageous places, and spending pretty wisely. Amouranth explains in other tweets that although “people are criticizing me for lack of diversification”, “Visa $V is my smallest position”. She has $2 million worth of stock in Google, for example, too. The thread is interesting and the streamer, although she calls herself “dumb”, is obviously a lot smarter than some would give her credit for.
People want me to make a finance channel (and I’m super appreciative and flattered) but in truth I can’t even get people to watch my reacts to funny TikToks lol https://t.co/tHozx0qhOG https://t.co/RbaeToEF80

Amouranth spends her money in rather unusual ways sometimes. It wasn’t that long ago that her fans were marvelling at her new business venture - a gas station. Turns out its good for tax reasons, who would have thought?
