Looking for some free games to keep yourself occupied over the summer? Hoping to keep your kids quiet while you sink a bottle of wine in the garden before they notice you're gone? I got you.
Ubisoft, who you may be familiar with from such franchises as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rayman (may he rest in peace) currently have three free games to download and keep. Let's take a look at them, shall we? I think we shall.
Over on Ubisoft's website there's a handy little breakdown of all the free games you can get at any given time. As of right now there's a triumvirate of freebies on offer. Join me, as we go through them one by one.

First up is Trackmania, a free-to-play Hot Wheels-style racer that's definitely worth a look if you're feeling the need for speed. The game has plenty of strong reviews on Steam and drops new content every few months. Plus there's a track editor, meaning there's endless scope for all kinds of high-speed fun.
Next up is Rabbids Coding, which is absolutely one you'll want to introduce your kids to if you're one of those lame parents that insists on them learning over the summer holidays. Rabbids Coding is a kid-friendly educational game designed to help you learn all about coding. While it's obviously designed with nippers in mind, anyone looking for an accessible entry point into the complex world of coding can check it out.
Finally there's a Brawlhalla, a genuinely excellent fighting game inspired by the likes of Super Smash Bros and other, less successful Super Smash Bros clones. Brawlhalla is easy to pick up and play, but there's plenty of complexity buried in there for those who want to dig it out. A ton of guest characters are also added frequently, so it's always worth going back to.
So there you have it. Three free games. Try saying that ten times fast. Or, you know, download one of the free games we just talked about instead. That'd probably be more fun.
