'Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn Of Ragnarok' Leaked By Reliable Insider

It's time to Ragnarok and roll

A prominent Assassin’s Creed leaker has just dropped a ton of juicy new details on the upcoming third DLC expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Ubisoft confirmed earlier this year that the open-world viking adventure has proved so popular that it will be getting more story expansions on top of the previously planned two adventures set in Ireland and Paris.

A mysterious teaser (see below) was shared during E3 that announced Eivor’s saga would continue into 2022, although the exact nature of this DLC has yet to be officially revealed.

Fortunately, the ever-reliable Assassin’s Creed insider j0nathan has shared a new video containing what he claims are the first details of Valhalla’s next DLC.

Brilliantly, it sounds like the third DLC will be called “Dawn Of Ragnarok”, which I’m sure won’t cause any issues with 2022’s God Of War Ragnarök. Nope. None at all. j0nathan added that the adventure will once again embrace the fantasy side of Assassin’s Creed and see players journey into Svartalfheim, the realm of the dwarves. Eivor will help fight to repel the evil Surtr and his Muspel warriors.

While this all sounds good to us, it's worth noting that the earlier E3 teaser definitely teased a slightly more... hellish adventure. The fiery gates lava everywhere certainly suggested we'd get to travel to Muspelheim - home of the fire giants.

Of course Surtr hails from this realm, so even if we don't get to see it in the next batch of Assassin's Creed DLC, there's every chance we'll be headed there eventually.

Details on when exactly this third DLC will be available have yet to be announced, but it's likely that we'll find out more in the coming months ahead of an early 2022 release.
