‘Call of Duty: Warzone 2’ Will Receive Long Awaited Feature, Says Insider

Despite the fact that Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is yet to receive a full reveal, we sure do know a lot about this game. Warzone 2 is seemingly a leaker’s paradise and over the last few weeks, there’s been a steady drip feed of information on Infinity Ward’s upcoming title.

Warzone 2 is set to bring huge changes to loudout drops thanks to the introduction of new challenge-based Strongholds, and the inventory system is also set to receive a complete overhaul. Additionally, another brand new feature looks set to revolutionise how we utilise the games’ maps - that’s according to reputed Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson.

Take a look below at how one of Warzone's most notorious hackers was exposed.

Taking to Twitter, Henderson teased that players of Warzone 2 will finally be able to swim. Surprisingly, it’s not a feature yet available in the current version of Warzone which is odd given how well the Warzone Pacific environment would lend itself to a swimming function.

The leaker shared an image of a hand-drawn map which included locations like quarry, modern city, caves, and airport. Long term Call of Duty fans will soon recognise that these places all link to Modern Warfare 2. Well, Henderson did previously reveal that fan-favourite classic Modern Warfare 2 maps would come to Warzone 2.

At the bottom of the illustration, Henderson wrote, “A lot of sea here! Good job you can swim.” Hm, interesting. There are no details beyond this so we don’t know exactly how swimming will work. Given the location of the body of water at the bottom of the map, we don’t even know how useful it will prove to be.

As with all rumours, this has to be taken with a pinch of salt. As far as official information goes, all we know is that Warzone 2 will include “groundbreaking innovations,” as it introduces an “all-new playspace”. If the leaks to date are anything to go by, this sounds about right.
