Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is here, the next entry in the popular FPS series which should have been a jubilant celebration for fans, right? Unfortunately, that was not entirely the case.
Prior to its launch, rumours were making the rounds that Modern Warfare III was originally intended to be DLC for Modern Warfare II (2022). While this claim has not been proven by either Activision or Sledgehammer Games, the fact that Modern Warfare III has no Platinum Trophy on PlayStation 5 only increased fans' suspicions.

Fans were also aggrieved by Modern Warfare III’s apparent three-hour campaign. Though to be fair, the campaign length for any game can be different depending on the player as well as what difficulty setting they may choose. Yet, the woes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III were made even worse as it claimed a spot in the top 10 worst games on Metacritic for 2023.

Arguably the saving grace for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is its core FPS gameplay, however, if you wanted to make that aspect even better, then you might be in luck. Albeit, you will need a compatible TV or monitor.
As explained by Upcomer.com, boosting the framerate up to 120 frames per second on PlayStation 5 can make for a more enjoyable and smoother experience. Firstly, you will need a TV or monitor that supports 120 Hz with HDMI 2.1.
To enable super-slick 120fps, go to Settings on the PlayStation 5, select Saved Data and Game/App Settings. Next, select Game Presets then choose Performance Mode or Resolution Mode, and enable Performance Mode as the default. Finally, boot up Modern Warfare III, go into the Graphics settings enable 120 Hz and get ready for a super-slick time in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Happy days!
