Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III is apparently getting a Walking Dead crossover, because of course it is.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III is apparently getting a The Walking Dead crossover, because of course it is.

The latest release in the Call Of Duty franchise, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III, has been a dire disappointment for fans and to add to the confusion, Activision has been thanking fans for their non-existent positive feedback on the game.

Take a look at Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III below .

While it’s failed to impress, the battle-royale mode Call Of Duty: Warzone is largely unchanged, and is set to receive yet another collaboration complete with more microtransactions.

This time around, it’ll be collaborating with the ever-popular zombie series The Walking Dead. The DLC was shared by CharlieINTEL on Twitter, who reported data miners have “found references to a potential The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live collaboration.” It’s believed this will feature content for both Warzone and the normal multiplayer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

The leak suggests the two protagonists of the upcoming Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live spin-off, Rick Grimes and Michonne, will both be added to the game as operators.

This obviously isn’t the first collaboration the game has done so far, as previous Call Of Duty seasons have included the likes of Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series, superheroes from Amazon’s TV series The Boys, and even some real-life faces like Snoop Dog and Nicki Minaj.

Unfortunately, this is unlikely to sway the majority of gamers from actually wanting to play the game, which has been relentlessly criticised for being a full-price DLC expansion for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

It’s been deemed “unplayable” by a lot of players and has slowly crept its way into Metacritic’s worst games of 2023, as well as the worst-rated Call Of Duty game released so far.

At least Rick and Michonne in Warzone will be better than the entirety of The Walking Dead: Destinies though.
