Snoop Dogg is coming to Call Of Duty: Warzone as a playable Operator. No, really.

Just let it sink in for a second: Call Of Duty: Warzone, the battle royale spinoff of the Call Of Duty game that promised a return to gritty realism, will be adding the rapper behind such hits as 'Drop it Like it's Hot' and 'Sexual Eruption' to its roster of playable characters.

This is according to prominent Call of Duty leaker ZestyLeaks, who has provided evidence that Mr Dogg will be making his way to the battle royale as part of its upcoming Season Two update. Given that Warzone now features cameos and crossovers with everything from Attack On Titan to SAW, I'm not even that surprised.

Snoop Dogg is no stranger to gaming, of course. Aside from his regular streams on Twitch (when he can get the sound to work), he's also appeared in a number of video games over the years. True Crime: Streets Of LATekken Tag Tournament 2Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff, and Call Of Duty: Ghosts are just a few of the titles that have featured the iconic rapper. Warzone will simply be the latest in a long line.

This strange news comes days after the Warzone developers reportedly admitted during a call with content creators that the game is a complete mess right now.

Apparently, the team is “not happy” with the state that Warzone finds itself in, explaining they've “learned the upper limits of their technology” as far as integrating newer Call Of Duty games into the battle royale goes. They also promised fixes are coming soon, hopefully before Snoop Dogg drops into the game.
