'Call Of Duty: Warzone 2' Is Borrowing One Of 'Rainbow Six Siege's Best Features

Call Of Duty: Warzone 2 is apparently looking to Rainbow Six Siege for inspiration ahead of its planned 2023 release.

According to reports, Activision is currently planning a full-on sequel to 2020's hit battle royale, complete with a brand-new map and all-new features. One of those features, it seems, is being borrowed from Ubisoft's popular tactical shooter.

According to notable Battlefield/Call Of Duty/pretty much everything else insider Tom Henderson, Warzone 2 will allow players to interrogate downed opponents, similar to Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite.

Writing for eXputer, Henderson claimed that Warzone 2 could feature an interrogation system similar that allows you to force a downed enemy to reveal the location of their teammates. Apparently this feature is in the earliest stages, however, meaning its inclusion in the final product is far from guaranteed.

The interrogation process is currently said to be similar to the current revive animation, in which you inject the player. The process can take about six seconds to complete, so it's obviously not something you'll be able to do easily in a high-pressure firefight.

Henderson has also suggested that Warzone 2's new map will feature many of the more iconic locations from the original Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

“As mentioned in my early report last November for Modern Warfare 2 (via VGC), old maps will be returning to not only the core title but to the Warzone 2 map itself,” Henderson wrote.

“Within the Warzone 2 map, the maps have been added and expanded upon, as per my original report. Final POI [point of interest] names for the map itself have not yet been determined, but I can still outline a few of these maps and their locations within Warzone 2.”

The maps which reportedly set to be included as POIs include Highrise, Quarry, Terminal, and Afghan. Henderson added that there are more POI locations which might include Modern Warfare 2 maps, one of which is named ‘Mountain Town’, which could actually feature Favela.
