Call Of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is set to launch next week, and Activision has shared a ton of new information about the battle royale's map, player count, progression systems, and so much more.
The free-to-play game sounds like it's going to be a worthy sequel to the original Warzone, but there's one piece of information that has fans salivating that Activision didn't officially share. In short, it turns out Warzone 2.0 will include a tactical nuke that players can use to immediately obliterate the map and win a match, although it will be "extremely difficult to pull off".
Multiple sources have reported that the upcoming battle royale will be bringing back the classic Call Of Duty killstreak with a vengeance.

“You can nuke the entire battle royale map in Warzone 2.0,” tweeted Modern Warzone, one of the content creators that was recently granted an exclusive look at the game.
“Nobody managed to do it today but we were told that it is possible, although extremely difficult to pull off,” they added. “It’s not based off going on a high kill streak. We were told it’s a special contract that doesn’t spawn every game and is extremely difficult to complete.”
Ensuring this is a rare, once in a few games occurrence sounds like a smart move to us. Seeing those first few nukes obliterate a game will probably be amazing, but having every other match cut short in the exact same way? Yeah, we could see that getting old fast.
Still, just imagine how amazing it would feel when you and your squad finally pull off all the conditions required to get that first nuke and win a game. It could really change the flow of certain matches, and it'll be interesting to see just how uncommon it really is.
