'Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile' Gameplay Looks Pretty Good, Actually

The closed alpha test for Warzone Mobile is underway, and players have been sharing gameplay footage online.

Maybe it’s because they’re taking a break next year, but man, there’s been a lot of Call of Duty news lately. Not that we’re complaining of course, but it has felt pretty much non-stop in the past few weeks, with all the trailers and gameplay for Modern Warfare II you could ever dream of, and a new map announced for Warzone and Vanguard. And that’s just the official stuff - as we all know, when it comes to Call of Duty, there tends to be more (often accurate) unofficial leaks than actual confirmed news half of the time.

Speaking of which, some massive new gameplay footage for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile (or Project Aurora, as it’s being officially called) has leaked online, and it’s looking pretty great. The mobile port of the game was revealed by Activision back in March, and although it doesn’t have an official release window yet (many have been speculating it’ll be this year), it entered closed alpha testing earlier this month.

Before we get into it, be sure to take a look at some of our favourite Warzone wins and fails below.

According to EarlyGame, all of the alpha participants were specially selected, so not everyone can get their hands on the game right now. Plenty of those who have been playing it though have been sharing footage, including YouTuber Papa Joe, and it genuinely looks like it’s running pretty well, even in alpha. Take a look for yourself below.

There’ve been plenty of gameplay footage videos popping up online which have been swiftly hit with copyright strikes - the one linked above is live at the time of writing, but chances are, it won’t be for too long. Feast your eyes on it while you can. Absorb it. Cherish it.

Even though most of us can’t actually play Warzone Mobile just yet, that new Warzone and Vanguard map I mentioned before is coming out tomorrow, so maybe that can help ease any feeling of FOMO you might have got from looking at that footage. Maybe. Hopefully it won’t be too long until more players can give the new title a go, anyway.
