Anyone else remember when the Call Of Duty franchise approached World War II with a veneer of respect for the fact that it was an actual horrific event in which millions were senselessly killed? No? Me either.
Anyway, it turns out Captain America and Indiana Jones are coming to Call Of Duty: Vanguard. Sigh.
Take a look at Call Of Duty: Vanguard in action below:

The First Avenger and everyone’s favourite whip-cracking professor were spotted by dataminers in the files for Activision’s recently released WWII shooter. It looks like they’ll be added as playable operators in an incoming “American Heroes” event (thanks, VGC).
You can take a look at what appears to be leaked artwork for the pair below. Indiana Jones socking it to a Nazi is a wonderfully striking image, I'll give 'em that.

To be fair, it’s an era-appropriate duo too. Cap and Indie were both active during WWII and are among the best fictional Nazi fighters out there. If nothing else, it makes way more sense than the rumoured Attack On Titan crossover said to be making its way to Vanguard... but it’s still a far cry from the gritty realism Call Of Duty used to pride itself on.
