Spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home follow. Although if you've not seen it by now... come on.

Charlie Cox wants to play Daredevil forever, and I don't think there's a fan alive that wants to stop him.

In his first interview since his shock cameo as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the former Netflix superhero said that if he has his way, he'll be playing Daredevil for the rest of his days.

Cox first appeared as the lawyer-turned vigilante in Netflix's Daredevil, which ran for three seasons from 2015 to 2018 before being unceremoniously cancelled. The arrival of Disney Plus and a new batch of Marvel TV superheroes threw up questions around Cox's future in the role. Would he return as Daredevil? Or would Marvel bring the character into the MCU with a new face.

Our questions were mercifully answered when it was Cox who emerged once again as Matt Murdock in the latest Spidey flick, with Marvel confirming soon after that there's plenty more Daredevil to come in the MCU. Fortunately, Cox is more than willing to come along for the ride.

"I mean look, I feel so lucky to have been cast in that role and it is the gift that keeps on giving. I loved every single minute of making the show," Cox told Supernova. "And so, to be asked to come back and to be involved in any capacity is absolutely thrilling to me. And I hope, I don't want to sound greedy, but I hope I get to do loads more. I hope I get to be involved way, way more for many years. I hope it never ends. I hope it gets to the point where people are like, 'You are too old to be playing this part.'"

Let's hope our next visit with Cox's Daredevil comes sooner rather than later.
