Disney has shown us our very first look at the Boba Fett series and honestly, it looks excellent. The entertainment company has been leaning into exclusive Disney+ series', and after the incredible success of The Mandalorian, it’s now time for Boba to get in on the action too.
The trailer establishes a few crucial plot points. This is a story about the underworld, about the nefarious events that go on in criminal space of the Star Wars universe. Jabba the Hutt is mentioned heavily and the organisation he was once part of is at the centre of this story. Boba, of course, survived the fall into the Pit of Carkoon (that would have been an unfortunate way to go), lost his armour and is now joined by Fennec Shand once again as badass mercs.

Boba Fett's apperance in season two of The Mandalorian was a nice surprise for many. Boba, after losing his armour years previously had tracked down Mando to get it back. It was, after all, Jango Fett's armour before his and it's nice to keep things in the family right? Now he's got his classic look back, Disney is celebrating the character's return with this series, exploring his reign as an underworld criminal.

The trailer looks stunning though. The dark tone of the series is already present, the tense atmosphere of the Star Wars underworld is already calling to us. We're so used to being on the side of the good guys, we often don't get too much time to explore the grey areas of this galaxy. Boba intends, unlike Jabba, to rule with respect - and so this show will seemingly explore how all that comes into play. Though if someone isn't willing to submit to Boba's demands, we're sure we'll see the bounty hunter side of him back in action once again.
