We’ve all been waiting patiently for the latest edition to the Marvel cinematic universe, and as we reach the middle of April the wait is almost over.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is nearly upon us, releasing 5 May, and already speculation about what will be appearing in the film is running rampant. While some Marvel crossovers have been officially confirmed, such as several characters from TV show Wandavision, and the return of the X-men’s Professor Charles Xavier as played by Sir Patrick Stewart, many others have been speculated to appear. It has been rumoured that Halle Berry will make a comeback as the mutant Storm, that Ryan Reynolds could be in a post credits scene as the merc with a mouth, Deadpool, and due to the inclusion of what we think is the Illuminati, there is the possibility of John Krasinski’s Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four.

If you want to take a look at the trailer for Doctor Strange 2 and see how many cameos you can spot it's right here.

It seems we now have more unofficial information to query over before May. In an exchange with The Direct, film pundit John Campea has revealed that Doctor Strange 2 is planned to have plot twists in line with some of Marvel’s biggest hitters.

"Yesterday, I got an email. What I was basically told was this. I cannot say who this is from. But it [said], ‘Yeah, they’re not going to be screening Doctor Strange 2 during CinemaCon.’ Sorry to tell everybody that,” but he continued, “they went on to say this, they said, ‘There’s more security [for this movie] blah blah blah.’ But the key line was this: ‘There are more big surprises in Doctor Strange 2 than in Infinity War, Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home combined.’"

As No Way Home was a massive success for Marvel, becoming one of the best-selling films of all time at the box office, if rumours are true, Doctor Strange 2 could be on to a winner.
