Elden Ring has captured the world in a way no other video game has managed to do so far this year. FromSoftware’s latest title is quite frankly a juggernaut. Within the first five weeks alone, Elden Ring sold over 13 million copies - which is a huge milestone.

As such, you wouldn’t think that Elden Ring needs a lot in the way of advertising. The game is already huge, and I’m sure it’ll sweep a ton of Game of the Year awards. That being said, Elden Ring has released a brand new live action trailer.

Check out Elden Ring’s new trailer below featuring UFC star Israel Adesanya.

The brand new trailer starring Israel Adesanya shows the UFC star walking through a dimly lit throne room. As we see flashes of some of Elden Ring’s most epic moments, Adesanya reminds us what it takes to conquer the Lands Between. “Be sharper than their swords, hit harder than their hammer,” Adesanya says to would-be seekers of the title of Elden Lord, ending with, “May death never stop you.”

Admittedly, we don’t get to see much live action content in the trailer, but it has left me curious for more. Video game adaptations are more popular than ever. Given Elden Ring’s colossal success, surely it’s only a matter of time before someone nabs the rights. I’m thinking something on the scale of Amazon’s The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power would be about right for an Elden Ring adaptation.

Unfortunately, this is all wishful thinking. We do know that more Elden Ring video game content is on the way though. Just last week, Hidetaka Miyazeki gave a revealing interview when he teased that updates on Elden Ring “will continue into the future,” which sure sounds like a DLC may be coming. Miyazaki also confirmed that work is almost finished on FromSoftware’s next game. All in all, soulslike fans have a lot to mull over.
