'Elden Ring' Players Recreate Terrifying 'Doctor Who' Scene, And It's Hilarious

Elden Ring has played host to a range of weird and wonderful characters. If you can believe it, Shrek, Thomas the Tank Engine and Homer Simpson have all graced the Lands Between with their presence. Why? That I do not know.

Some players have taken things one step further, recreating scenes from their favourite franchises. Just this week, one player recreated Bloodborne’s most infamous boss battle, while another player previously reenacted Frodo and Sam’s journey to Mordor. Now, a trio of players have gathered to recreate one of Doctor Who’s scariest episodes, and the results are hilarious.

If I asked you to name the top three most terrifying Doctor Who creatures, I can almost guarantee that you’d say the Weeping Angels. These terrifying statues debuted on our screens back in 2007, yet we still talk about them to this day. If you’re not familiar, the Weeping Angels essentially creep up on you when you close your eyes - so don’t blink if you see them.

Reddit user Titus-Deimos recently recreated a similarly terrifying scene. Titus-Deimos gathered in a circle with another two players, all disguised as statues (presumably thanks to Mimic’s Veil). A fourth player runs past the circle and the group immediately begin to creep up on him when he’s not looking. Take a look at the footage below.

My favourite part is when the fourth player turns around. You can just tell he’s deeply pondering, thinking ‘Were they there a second ago?’

Plenty of people made the Weeping Angel connection and shared their thoughts on the post. Kamenridethewind007 said, “If i saw I was followed by Weeping Angels, I’d be like nope f**k this. I’m out,” while mushroomaspiring wrote, “I showed this to my wife and we just sat here screaming once you all started moving.” I feel their pain. The Weeping Angels were pure childhood nightmare fuel.
