Elder Scrolls 6 Unreal Engine 5 trailer concept is too good to be true

It has been over ten years since the iconic The Elder Scrolls V: Skryim was launched and since then, fans have been desperate for the next instalment in the long-running franchise. However despite The Elder Scrolls 6 currently being in development, it may be a while before we see it which makes this trailer concept all the more alluring.

With the recent news that The Elder Scrolls 6 is in development, the good news was soon crushed after it was reported that we may not see the next entry for quite a few years. This is perhaps unsurprising considering developers Bethesda are also hard at work patching its latest release, Starfield as well as working on its other much-loved franchise with the arrival of Fallout 5.

However, thanks to a legion of dedicated Elder Scrolls fans, The Elder Scrolls 6 is perhaps one of the most anticipated games in recent years and it is no wonder that creators are taking to Unreal Engine 5 to give us a peek at what it could look like when it is eventually released.

One such fan concept trailer created by Youtuber Unreal Concepts does just that by using Unreal Engine 5 to “imagine” The Elder Scrolls 6. Using a wide selection of mods as well as the stunning engine, the teaser trailer shows us the world as we have never seen it before.

With graphics and scenery that rival that of Elden Ring, we see towering castles, ramshackled villages, ominous dragon bones hidden within caves and lush forests complete with sunlight streaming through the canopy. Accompanied by atmospheric music, the trailer gives us just over two-minutes of footage showing some of the scenery and landscapes we could expect to see in the next entry.

This is just one of many projects undertaken by Unreal Concepts who has also worked on concept trailers for God of War 6, Grand Theft Auto 6 and Red Dead Redemption 3 to name a few.
