Bethesda is the talk of the town, which shouldn’t come as a major surprise. Starfield has proven to be a major critical and commercial success.
In fact, it’s Bethesda’s most successful launch to date. The game has already amassed a whopping 6,000,000 players across Xbox and PC. In our 10 out of 10 review, we said, “Bethesda has crafted a captivating interstellar playground that is beyond anything I have ever played or experienced. [...] The level of interactivity and choice is unbounded leading to an experience that is, dare I say, revolutionary.” Some have taken issue with the game’s fast travel but on the whole, fans are delighting in the sense of discovery. On the topic of Bethesda, it’s been a while since we received a new Fallout entry, but upcoming RPG Broken Roads could fill the Fallout shaped hole in your heart.

As reported by PC Gamer, Broken Roads is a new RPG from Australian studio Drop Bear Bytes. It’s set to release on 14 November on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC and features a post-apocalyptic setting, mortality system, and turn-based combat. The synopsis reads, “Immerse yourself in a game world set in post-apocalyptic Western Australia filled with intricate lore, deep history, and compelling characters. As you embark on your epic journey, complex storylines, branching quests, and memorable encounters await.”

It continues, “Uncover hidden secrets, unravel political intrigues, and confront moral dilemmas that challenge your assumptions about right and wrong. Every decision you make shapes the rich narrative, leading to multiple outcomes and ensuring a truly personalised gameplay experience.
