Fallout has an incredible free multiplayer spinoff that isn't Fallout 76

This multiplayer Fallout title based on the 1997 classic is not one to miss

With Fallout back in the spotlight following the success of the hit show, both new and old fans are desperate to see more of the wasteland and this multiplayer spinoff has them covered.

It has been just a few weeks since Amazon dropped Fallout and it wasn’t long before the show was considered one of the best gaming adaptations of all time.

With a second season already confirmed and the Fallout gaming series hitting record-breaking numbers, the long-running franchise is firmly getting a second chance at a first impression.

Also unsure where to start after watching the show? We have you covered below!

Now with new fans speculating which Fallout title they should start with, opinions are flying around online. However, it is no wonder the first Fallout title is being left in the dust considering it was first released way back in 1997.

Nevertheless, it was still groundbreaking for its time and although it may be difficult to access now, one modder has us covered with FOnline, a multiplayer game based on the classic 1997 title.

Featuring a highly developed character building and development system, including character customisation, players will be able to team up with friends to embark on quests and missions across the various factions and the creatures that inhabit them.

Not only that but FOnline recently welcomed its 5.5 patch which adds even more features to the title’s PvP mode. Players will now be able to unlock perks every 250 levels such as the ability to make long-lasting armour and weapons, gain damage resistance and acquire combat boosts.

There are also cool new combos to master, upgrades to the game’s War Event and improvements to critical damage and hits as well as general special ability tweaks. As always, this will come alongside quality of life improvements.

FOnline is free to download and try out right now so gather your friends and head back to the original wastelands.
