Fallout meets Cyberpunk 2077 in gorgeous Unreal Engine 5 RPG

Exekiller is a gorgeous Unreal Engine 5 RPG that's Fallout meets Cyberpunk 2077.

Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 and the Fallout series should keep an eye on the upcoming retro futuristic western game, Exekiller.

Set in a post-apocalyptic alternative timeline, Exekiller by Paradark Studio is a first-person action-adventure shooter that takes player choices into consideration. You will take on the role of Denzel Fenix, a bounty hunter in a world where humanity has been decimated due to the effects of a calamity that destroyed the earth, turning it into a huge desert. Working for a corporation that towers over the remains of New York, Denzel will go on a journey of self-discovery as well as playing a difficult game of survival.

Take a look at Exekiller in action below.

Exploring a wasteland much like those found in Fallout with elements of the futuristic found in Cyberpunk 2077, Exekiller consists of a semi-open environment centered around a hub. However, be aware that every choice you make will matter with the player never being limited to one path or solution for problems encountered in missions. Your decisions play such a key role that they will go on to influence the attitude of NPCs, dialogue, and even how your story will end.

As you continue through the game, you will unlock more of the map which will become easily traversable by car. However, you will be met with many hazardous elements such as unexpected enemies and dangerous weather. You can overcome these obstacles however you wish, whether that is all guns blazing or using a sneakier approach via hacking or even using your words to settle disagreements.

Something fairly unique to Exekiller is that it will not rely on XP or levelling up. Instead, your progression will come from your choice of mods, augments and tech implants. Rewards received through quests will also give you more access to weapons and encounter tactics.

Exekiller is yet to receive a release date but it will launch sometime in 2025 to PC.
