Fans Are All Saying The Same Thing About Leon In 'Resident Evil 4 Remake'

There sure has been a lot to digest during this year’s not-E3. Before we all started obsessing over Starfield’s new gameplay or the reveal of The Last of Us Part 1, Sony kicked off this year’s proceedings by announcing the Resident Evil 4 Remake at their State of Play showcase.

Set to release on 24 March, 2023, this reimagining of Capcom’s classic appears to be a new-gen exclusive. I say reimagining as the devs have already teased that fresh elements will be woven into the story, with fans speculating links between Resi 4 and Village. The most popular talking point in the remake trailer though is Leon.

Check out the incredible new trailer for the Resident Evil 4 Remake below, featuring Leon in action.

Leon has a fresh new look and damn, it has got fans feeling thirsty. I mean, I don’t blame them … Leon does look good. Clearly the internet has a thing for sleep-deprived guys, I guess? Reddit user Bryonatic posted a side-by-side comparison of the new and old versions of Leon in the r/residentevil subreddit, and fans quickly united in their adoration for his glow-up.

F4tc4t007 wrote, “Handsome, extremely sleep-deprived and has seen his fair share of horror,” while deathofgregory added, “Holy s**t. He looks hot asf.” NoahJRoberts admitted they were “turned on a little.”

Some fans took things one step further. MissFortune3 wrote, “He looks hot, but he also needs a warm meal and a good night's rest,” with Over-Advantage-9979 adding, “I wanna give him lots of kisses but I also wanna wrap him in a blanket and tell him nothing will ever hurt him again.” You get the idea. Leon has got people feeling some type of way and this is just after a short trailer. Come March, I’m imagining that the Leon fan art is going to get a little spicy.
