Fans Spot 'The Witcher 3' Reference in 'LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga'

A Reddit user recently unearthed a reference to one of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's funniest glitches.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has had the best LEGO game launch ever which shouldn’t really come as a surprise. The game excels in all it sets out to do and as Tom said in our review, LEGO Star Wars : The Skywalker Saga “is built with passion and love for both the story and the studs.”

If there’s one thing that LEGO games know how to do, it’s humour - and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is full of funny details and features. From Indiana Jones’ hat (a nod to Lucasfilm) to the tongue-in-cheek mission title ‘Better Call Maul’, there are plenty of easter eggs for fans to unearth and one player recently spotted a Witcher reference within the game.

Take a look at some of our favourite hidden conversations from LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga below.

During their playthrough, Reddit user sleepyralphiee noticed a hilarious reference to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. On one of LEGO Star Wars’ levels, a horse can be spotted standing on a straw roof which is of course a nod to Geralt’s horse Roach.

If you didn’t know, Roach was part of an unfortunate glitch. When players summoned the horse, Roach could occasionally get stuck from time to time. On one occasion, she somehow managed to get stuck on a roof. Unsurprisingly, the glitch soon became a meme because that’s what happens these days.

Fans were quick to share their thoughts on LEGO Star Wars’ latest easter egg. C-r-e-e wrote, “I've somehow never come across this and now I feel like I've missed an integral part of the game,” while cramey229 said, “Haha that’s awesome. I got that Kyber brick but definitely didn’t put that together.”

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga certainly does seem to be rife with references. I wonder if any more are yet to be unearthed.
