Remember when EA announced a new studio earlier this week? Yeah, it turns out all our suspicions were correct when we assumed that this new studio, Full Circle, is dedicated entirely (for now) to the Skate series after the confirmation that a new addition to Skate is on the way.
A tweet from the studio confirms that "Yes, we're still working on the next Skate and we officially formed a new studio to prove it!". EA, to be perfectly honest, we believed you without the new studio, but it's a nice touch for sure. Following the link attached to the tweet gives us just a little information on what the new studio is looking for, in terms of talent, and some words about the current team.
It says, "Full Circle is a studio based in Vancouver, with team members around the globe, embracing a geo‑diverse team and culture. We're all about having fun and making great games that people want to play with their friends. We're working on the next evolution of Skate, and set to deliver an experience that will embrace and build upon everything our community found special about the previous games."
Although everyone got pretty accustomed to saying Skate 4 when asking for a new title in the series, the way these guys are talking about the continuation of the games sounds like it's a full-on reboot and starting all over again.

Vacancies at the studio at the moment are pretty extensive - from an activities designer to character artists and world artists, there are a lot of different bits and pieces that need doing at Full Circle to get the Skate show on the road. We're surely not seeing the new Skate game any time soon, it's still a little way off if EA is only just announcing the studio that is working on the game - but we're still looking forward to seeing Skate back in our hands when the time comes.
