Ubisoft has announced new changes that will be coming to Assassin's Creed Valhalla with the new 1.2.0 patch going live on March 16 - updates include cats, weapons, and God of War perspective changes.

When I was playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla I didn't ever think to myself - "hey this game needs more cats" but after Ubisoft has announced new features and fixes coming to the game, I am delighted that there are going to be more cats from now on. Thanks for that Ubi, I appreciate it.

So what else is coming to Valhalla? Well actually a highly requested feature, and also a new camera angle option is coming to the game too. I am certain most of you know the sinking feeling you get when you score a really pretty weapon but it's useless compared to your current set up. Or you find a weapon with great stats that's ugly as heck. Sometimes you just want a beautiful yet badass warhammer - is that too much to ask? Well, Ubisoft has now added the Transmog option for your gaming pleasure.

Simply take a weapon you really like the stats of to Gunnar in Ravensthorpe and pay him 50 silver - he'll then make the weapon look like any other weapon of the same type (swords, hammers etc.) of your choosing. Weapons that have had their appearance altered will then get a little black star next to them in your inventory. Nifty.

Also, a new camera mode has been added to the game - an option that brings the view-point in closer to your Eivor and then zooms out when you're in combat. As PCGamesN notes, it's basically an official version of the God of War perspective some fans have already modded into the game. This camera mod can be found in the settings menu.

Some new skills are also coming to the game that you can earn. First, there is Fearless Leaper which "when activated, the leap attack damage has a larger area of effect and can be done at any height". Next, there is Raven's Loot which makes "your raven gather loot from targets killed with ranged attacks". Finally, there is Loot Food which unsurprisingly increases the chance that Eivor can loot food from dead bodies.

Additionally, a new in-game event is coming - The Ostara Festival is sort of the Easter event for Valhalla. It'll include a "bloomy Ravensthorpe" with new activities like egg hunts and special rewards you can get your hands on.

Additional fixes and Ubisoft kicking foxes out of Lunden can be found in the full patch notes here.
