As the teasers for Batman: Gotham Knights continue, one fan appears to have uncovered evidence of one of the game's playable characters. Warner Bros. Montreal has been dropping cryptic videos and tweets all week, with secret codes all pointing towards what we can expect from the upcoming game.

Earlier this morning we got our first look at what we believe to be the game's Gotham City map, which looks an awful lot like the one seen in Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Knight. Now, a Reddit user who claims to gotten hold of the remaining secret codes ahead of time has discovered a fairly strong hint that Batgirl - AKA Barbara Gordon - will be joining the Dark Knight as one of the game's characters.

Combining all of the entry codes supplied by the R3DAKT3D Twitter account and website forms the barcode number for Detective Comics #359 - the first appearance of Batgirl. That's way too specific to be a coincidence, right? Especially when you consider that WB Montreal also created the Batgirl DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight.

We've previously heard that the upcoming title will feature a playable "Bat-Family" in addition to Batman himself. This typically refers to the likes of Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Red Hood, and would definitely give the Gotham Knights name a little more meaning. I mean, the use of "Knights" instead of just "Knight" is a dead giveaway that Batman won't be alone.

According to the DC Fandome schedule, the massive online event will include a panel for "Warner Bros. Games Montreal announcement" at 6.30pm UK time on Saturday, 22nd August. While this hasn't been confirmed as Batman: Gotham Knights, it's a widely accepted open secret that this is what we'll be seeing.

That's not the only Batman news that's expected during the DC Fandome event though. At 1am on the 23rd (here in the UK), Arkham Asylum developer Rocksteady Games will share a first look at their new game - the brilliantly titled Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
