Epic 'Battlefield 2042' Gameplay Shown Off For The First Time, Watch Here

The very first gameplay for Battlefield 2042 has been unveiled, and it's certainly looking set to be the most epic Battlefield experience to date. Huge explosions, massive maps, and dynamic weather form just a small fraction of the action-packed trailer that was shown off during Microsoft's E3 2021 showcase.

You don't really wanna hear from me though, do you? No, you want to watch people shooting each other on giant virtual maps, and I fully support that. Take a look at the gameplay trailer below!

We'd previously heard from industry insiders that Battlefield 2042 would be a near-future shooter that felt much more like Battlefield 3 in terms of gameplay compared to the last few entries. While we only got to see a few minutes of the game in action, it certainly looks like a punishingly fast-paced experience.

The extreme weather systems in particular look set to really force players to constantly rethink their strategies and adapt to terrifyingly unpredictable environments. One minute you could be camped out in a prime spot with a high-powered sniper rifle, the next you could be running for your life from a vicious twister. Keeping players on their toes and on the move seems to be the order of the day for Battlefield 2042, and I can't wait to see how well this new twist on the formula goes down with 128 all running around one huge map.

Battlefield 2042 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 22, 2021. We'll have much, much more to share on Battlefield 2042 soon, so stay tuned to GAMINGbible for more news and updates on one of 2021's biggest shooters!
