The upcoming trailer for Battlefield 6 - which was leaked earlier this month - has seen another lot of screenshots shared amongst the community, and these ones appear to confirm the title of the next game.
Battlefield 6 is the talk of the town these days, owing to the fact that DICE and EA have withheld any concrete details on the game, and that the rumours swirling around the next Battlefield get more and more exciting by the day. It's possible that players will be dropped into massive maps that will be subjected to natural disasters like tsunamis, tornadoes and volcanic eruptions. Ergo, the destruction and physics on display will be on a whole new level while it draws from Battlefield 3 for its inspiration in terms of gameplay and narrative. "Every console generation DICE sets the bar for excellence in audio and visual presentation. We are creating epic battles at a scale and fidelity unlike anything you've experienced before," said chief studio officer Laura Miele during EA Play Live last year.

"Our next Battlefield experience will mark a return to all out military warfare," said CEO Andrew Wilson. "The game takes full advantage of the power of next generation platforms to bring massive immersive battles to life with more players than ever before." So, the leaked trailer likely isn't how DICE and EA wanted to introduce fans to Battlefield 6, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. These screenshots were snapped and posted to prolific leaker Tom Henderson's Discord server, and they are sourced from this same trailer from earlier this month. Someone's pasted a diagonal black bar across them to avoid too much information being out there, but it does offer us some insight.
The futuristic setting is supported once again with a scene of a rocket taking off as well as something that looks like the Boston Dynamics' Spot Robot Dog running at speed with a bag on its back. Last but not least, the title appears to have been confirmed here - it's Battlefield, short and sweet. That was relayed to us a while ago, but it's nice to know that the leakers were on the money in this regard. For now, we'll be waiting til June for EA to lift the lid on Battlefield 6 officially, and of course, there's the EA Play Live event to pencil in our diaries for July 22nd.
