'Black Ops Cold War' Is Bringing Back An Iconic 'Black Ops 2' Map

Hello again, old friend.

Treyarch has confirmed that it's bringing back one of the most popular Black Ops maps in Call Of Duty history. Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season Three Reloaded will the long-awaited return of the Standoff map, made famous in 2012's Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The 6v6 map was first teased earlier this week alongside the new season's roadmap, but Treyrach has now dropped a new trailer for the remastered level. The 20-second clip doesn't give too much away, but it's a welcome glimpse at a map that fans have been desperate to see make its way back to Call Of Duty.

Take a look at the teaser trailer below!

Since the launch of Black Ops Cold War, fans have been fairly vocal about the lack of brand-new maps. While Standoff is, admittedly, an older map that's being wheeled out with a fresh coat of paint, it's one that everybody loves. Assuming Treyarch hasn't messed with it too much, there should be some very happy customers out there right now.

Season Three Reloaded is available to download right now on all platforms. In addition to Standoff, players can expect the new Duga multi-team map, as well as new weapons in the form of a Baseball Bat and the AMP63 Pistol. You can also expect the usual raft of gameplay tweaks and fixes, including an update to snipers that brings back a controversial "flinch" mechanic in an effort to make long-range shots a little trickier to pull off.

As with any update for any Call Of Duty game, there are bound to be plenty of players soon enough who make their issues with a new map/weapon/feature widely known. It's only a matter of time.
