'Black Ops Cold War' Season 4 Is Bringing Back The Best COD Map

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is reportedly bringing back an iconic map next season. According to a reliable industry insider, Season 4 of the popular shooter will revive the legendary Hijacked multiplayer map, and we couldn't be happier.

Twitter user and Call Of Duty leaker TheMW2Ghost made the claim earlier this week, stating that they're "90% sure" Hijacked will make it into Black Ops Cold War starting next season. The classic map first appeared in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2, and has gone down in series' history as one of the greats. It's easily regarded by fans everywhere one of the best and most intense Call Of Duty maps ever made - if not the best.

Take a look at some of the funniest Call Of Duty wins and fails below!

As other fans have pointed out, it'll certainly be interesting to see how Hijacked fits in with Black Ops Cold War. The latest Call Of Duty plays very differently to Black Ops 2, after all, and Hijacked was of course designed specifically for the 2012 shooter. Will the map lose any of its charm in being translated to the new game?

We certainly hope not. For those that never played it, Hijacked was the map that separated the wheat from the chaff. Two teams of players would duke it out on a super-yacht made up of multiple floors and seriously cramped spaces. Carnage was delivered in spades, and it was never anything less than fast-paced chaos. Just sublime stuff, and great fun every time.

There's no official word yet on when exactly Season 4 of Black Ops Cold War is due to go live, but given more than halfway Season 3, we'll likely start to hear more about the next batch of content in the coming weeks. Watch this space.
