A huge datamine on Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5: Reloaded has revealed a metric ton of information about Black Ops Cold War ahead of its official reveal tomorrow.

This is your big warning that the following article contains huge, huge spoilers for the upcoming Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, so, on your head be it if you see something you don't like.

A group of savvy dataminers working through the Call Of Duty OG's Discord server (via VG247 and COD Tracker) have unearthed basically everything Activision had squirreled away in the update code, including things like a potential release date for Black Ops Cold War and how it fits into the timeline. Yeah. It's huge.

So let's start with the Black Ops Cold War release date. The info pouring out of the Discord is being handily collated by the ModernWarzone Twitter account, where it's stated that the probable big day will be November 13th.

It also shows that the game will feature characters like Hudson, Mason and Woods, with Frank Woods taking the role of lead protagonist. The game's description states that players will come "face-to-face with historical figures and hard truths as they battle around the globe through iconic locales like East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, Soviet KGB headquarters and more."

It will be set in the early 1980s after the events of the original Black Ops where the main cast will be joined by new operators on the trail of a spy named Perseus.

But that's not all. There's a Night Mode being introduced in Warzone. Nightfall solos, duos, trios and quads will be arriving and has players dropping into a pitch-black version of Verdansk as they battle it out to take home the dub.

Finally there's the information that Zombies Mode will be making its grand return, but it's unclear whether it will be for Modern Warfare and Warzone, or Black Ops Cold War. The description in the tweet by ModernWarzone reads "Zombie Royale: Be the last team with a human alive to win. Players turn into Zombies on death, but can become human again by consuming fallen player's hearts." Certainly sounds like a Warzone thing, but, we don't know that for certain.

As always, though this datamine certainly seems to be legit, nothing has been officially confirmed by Activision, and any information may be subject to change. To find out exactly how close to the mark it all is, we'll have to wait until tomorrow, that's August 26th, for the full and official reveal.
