It's not long at all until Call of Duty : Black Ops Cold War makes its debut on both current-gen and next-gen consoles, but until its release Activision and Treyarch have been doing a couple of multiplayer betas. While betas for the most part are to test how a game performs, that doesn't stop the devs sprinkling a couple of cheeky easter eggs for fans to discover - and it looks as though players have discovered one on the map Cartel.

CoD YouTuber TheGamingRevolution released a video showcasing the map Cartel, which was leaked ahead of the Black Ops Cold War beta. The map features the home of Black Ops 2 villain Raul Menendez's father and within the house are a few added tidbits connecting it to the first two Black Ops games. TheGamingRevolution gives players a quick tour of the building and shows off a small photo, which features one of the homes from the map Nuketown.

It's no surprise that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War would potentially feature the return of Nuketown considering the devs are treating this as a soft reboot for the Black Ops series, much like last year's Modern Warfare was. It also wouldn't be the first time that Nuketown has made a return as the popular map was also remade in Blacks Op 2, Black Ops 3, and Black Ops 4. So it would just be keeping in line with tradition to have it make a return in Black Ops Cold War.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to be a return to form for the Black Ops series, building upon a focus on the more traditional gameplay mechanics that Modern Warfare featured. It will be adding a few other classic elements and modes, such as zombies making a return to Nacht Der Untoten, which was the first zombie map from Call of Duty: World at War.

Fans will be able to finally get their hand on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on 13th November on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
