Another day, another issue with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare. Those who have been playing the game since it launched late last year will be all too aware that its had its fair share of glitches and bugs - many of which the more unscrupulous players out there have been able to exploit for personal gains and unfair wins.
While many of the more intense exploits have long since been weeded out of the shooter, every now and again a new hiccup pops up that certain members of the Call Of Duty community choose to use to their advantage. This time, players have been making use of an out-of-bounds glitch found at the Verdansk Airport map that easily allows them to rack up kills without ever worrying about being hit back at.
Volpurr noticed while playing that bullets were seemingly appearing out of nowhere at one out-of-bounds section of the map. It wasn't until they respawned to a part of the map towards the far back that they found themselves gunned down through what looked to be solid rock. The killcam revealed that there was a player who managed to get inside the ground there, where they then made the sportsmanlike decision to run back and forth shooting down players who didn't know they were there.
Going from the brief killcam, this exploit location doesn't offer the best range or view... but it's clearly still more than enough to do some damage. It's not immediately clear how one gets into this position in the first place, but we're better off not knowing. As much as I'm sure the majority of you hate cheaters, there's every chance that one or two of the people reading this would immediately work out how to carry out the exploit and use it for nefarious purposes.
Various out-of-bounds areas that players can crawl into have been a recurring issue in Modern Warfare, with the game's much-hated Piccadilly map one of the worst offenders by some distance. It remains to be seen if Infinity Ward is aware of this particular exploit, but these bugs tend to get patched out pretty quickly once the developer cottons on to what's going on.
