Season 4 of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: Warzone is set to arrive on June 3rd, bringing with it all kinds of exciting new content. While we don't yet know everything that's coming in the new season, some of the recent promotional material has given us a vague idea of what to expect.

The "story so far" trailer posted by Activision last night seemed to confirm that fan-favourite Captain Price would be returning to the battle as a playable operator. But the Modern Warfare nostalgia doesn't end there. According to a number of eagle-eyed fans, it looks like the classic Modern Warfare 2 map Scrapyard will be one of the remastered maps for Season 4.

Take a close look at the image below. You'll probably be able to see that there's a map hiding inside the Season 4 lettering. According to those way more familiar with Call Of Duty than myself, it's an image of Scrapyard.

Obviously this wouldn't be the most surprising thing, given the way in which Infinity Ward has consistently delivered fan-favourite maps over the last three seasons of content. Rust, Shipment, and Crash are just a few of the classic Modern Warfare maps that have been remastered for the 2019 shooter.

Scrapyard was also one of the many maps referenced in a massive datamine of the game from last year, so it's really not a huge leap to assume it's coming back for Season 4.

We'll have to wait and see, but there's plenty more mysteries to get excited about when Season 4 drops. Last night's trailer teased that something is very wrong in Verdansk - the map that Warzone takes place on. Between the howling wolves, mysterious bunkers, and hidden nukes, it's clear that Infinity Ward is building up to some kind of major event in the battle royale.

A lot of fans expected Season 4 would start with some kind of game-changing event that completely overhauled the map. But it's not looking more likely that Season 4 will keep things largely the same, while ramping up a lot of current mysteries in new and exciting ways.

Lots to look forward to when Season 4 drops then. In the meantime, don't forget you've got one last chance to reach the highest ranks of the Season 3 Battle Pass via the Double XP Weekend that kicks off at 6pm on Friday.
