Season 5 of Call Of Duty: Warzone and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is finally here, and the substantial new update comes with a ton of new content. There are new maps to explore, new weapons to check out, and new modes to get to grips with.

But as exciting as all of that is, a number of fans seem particularly thrilled with the fact that Season 5 has introduced the ability for players to... look at their guns. I had no idea this was a thing people wanted, but Infinity Ward has confirmed you'll now be able to stop and inspect your weapon in greater detail whenever you feel like it. Just maybe make sure you've found cover first, or someone else will gun you down and take the weapon you were so busy undressing with your eyes.

Infinity Ward art director Joel Emslie confirmed the incoming feature on Reddit (thanks, PC Gamer), writing simply that weapon inspections are on the way. Sure enough, now that the Season 5 update is live, all players need to do is hold down left on the D-Pad to trigger the animation. Have fun looking at your guns, I guess.

Of course, that's not all that's been added in Season 5. The battle royale's massive stadium has finally opened up, and a train has started running across the map, opening up new areas in the process.

"Retool your strategy and rethink your drop plans around this massive super-structure," Activision wrote. "Complete with a pitch surrounded by rows of seating, an additional underground parking structure, a concession stand lobby and multiple interior concourses and field access you can secure and compete to control.

"The station buildings feature a number of inside locations to explore," the publisher explained. "All linked to the main ticket hall and platforms. This significantly changes the overall look, feel, and tactical outlook in and around this area of the Warzone map.

"Rolling through one of the main arterial railroad tracks that circumnavigates the southwestern part of Verdansk in a large loop, the largest and heftiest vehicle yet seen can be a source of protection, an epicenter of firefights, and even offers some exceptional takedown potential if your team claims the train for themselves, and guards it with additional vehicles and heavy weaponry."

Season 5 of Call Of Duty: Warzone and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is available to download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC right now.
