Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare dataminers are usually the first to know about any of the game's upcoming maps and weapons, combing through the shooter's files with each new patch and update for clues as to what to expect.
A recent discovery that's been doing the rounds online should be of particular interest to fans of the original Modern Warfare 2; it looks like a fan-favourite shotgun from the classic FPS will be making its way to the new Modern Warfare as part of the upcoming Season 6 update.
As spotted by Call of Duty leaker and content creator BKTOOR on Twitter, it seems that the popular fully automatic AA-12 shotgun is coming to Modern Warfare soon. The leaker shared a brief video of the weapon in action with incomplete textures. Although it's not entirely clear where or how the video was obtained, it looks to be the real deal. Take a look for yourself below.

Season 6 of Modern Warfare and Warzone is expected to arrive late September/early October, so we shouldn't have long to wait before we can get our hands on the AA-12. Separate leaks suggest that Season 6 will also see the R700 sniper rifle added to the game, so there should be a little something for all loadouts.
Earlier this week, we also got a very strong hint that Season 6 of Warzone will see even more significant changes hit the Verdansk map. The Call Of Duty League recently teased that the battle royale will introduce a system of underground Subway tunnels, allowing players to creep through Verdansk quickly and efficiently.
As shared by Twitter user and YouTuber Geeky Pastimes, the League's special congratulatory message to the Dallas Empire contained an image of the Verdansk map with one or two additions that don't currently exist in the game. As you can see below, the bottom left of the map has a Subway station that definitely isn't in the battle royale at the time of writing.

The consensus seems to be that this new mode of transportation will be added at the start of Season 6, which will likely be one of the battle royale's last major updates before Black Ops Cold War launches in November. Exciting times ahead.
