The latest update for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: Warzone is here. The hefty Season 4 Reloaded patch has introduced a ton of new content, including weapons, maps, modes, and features. It's also introduced a number of balancing tweaks and fixes for several of the game's divisive weapons.

Fans have been asking after the next round of weapon tuning updates since Season 4 launched, and Infinity Ward promised it had something planned for the halfway point. The Grau, in particular, has been a real point of contention for the Call Of Duty community.

"When is the Grau going to be nerfed?" One fan asked the developer on Twitter. "At least 90% of the killcams are from a Grau. Does that not tell you anything? The M4 was nerfed 3 times immediately. The Grau is ruining Warzone right now."

The good news is that the Grau has undergone some changes, along with a number of other weapons. You can read the full patch notes from Infinity Ward here, because there a lot of changes. I'll go through some of the highlights with you, though,

As per the patch notes, the Grau has had its damage range reduced. There's also been a "slight" increase to high frequency recoil, and reduced recoil compensation and decreased range on Tempus 26.4" Archangel and FSS 20.8" Nexus barrels. Will this be enough to keep the fans happy, or will further changes be needed? Time will tell.

The MP5 has also been nerfed. Decreased damage range, decreased 10MM damage range, reduced long range damage to 10MM ammo, and a slight recoil increase to 10MM ammo have been applied to the weapon.

There have been some improvements on a few of the weapons too, though. The MK2 Carbine, for example, has been buffed. It now boasts faster movement speed and increased damage range. Similarly, the AX-50 now has increased damage range.

There are also some general weapon fixes that apply to all guns. "Stopping Power is now applied to headshots," Infinity Ward explained. "Only certain weapons can go from a 2-shot to a 1-shot head shot, like the FAL and Oden. This fixes a few cases where headshots could sometimes do less damage than body shots when using Stopping Power."

Hopefully this puts an end to most of the complaining about weapons. Of course, constant updates mean that we're getting new weapons all the time. New weapons lead to more nerf requests. And so the cycle continues forevermore.
