By now, we all are very much aware that the next Call of Duty game is on the way. Call of Duty: Vanguard is once again taking players back to the World War II era and it now looks like footage has leaked from the beta testing of the game.

Videos popped up on the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit that shows a short clip of a player running across a rooftop map before encountering some enemies. Admittedly the visuals are really pretty from whatever map this is, but as other commenters on Reddit put it: yeah, it's just CoD, isn't it?

Here are some of our favourite Warzone wins and fails...

The series is well established, the money that goes into these games at least always means they'll look incredible if nothing else. Users on Reddit think that Vanguard, from the footage, looks a lot more like 2019's Modern Warfare than Cold War which might be a positive for some of you.

The release of Vanguard may be somewhat stunted by the recent lawsuit that Activision Blizzard is going through. Many abuse allegations have arisen as California sue the developers resuing in many fans of the company's work boycotting their products. Shortly after the lawsuit came to light, the Activision logo wasn't present in the marketing materials for Vanguard in what the company calls a "creative" choice.

An Activision representative said to Kotaku: "Call of Duty has continued to expand into an incredible universe of experiences. This was a creative choice that reflects how Vanguard represents the next major instalment in the franchise." Though this leaked footage will be a welcome sight to many, the surrounding circumstance means there is a question of how the game will perform when released on November 9.
