People that cheat in Call Of Duty: Warzone are pretty lame. People that cheat in Call Of Duty: Warzone and yet still somehow manage to lose? Well, they're an entirely different level of lame. It takes a real commitment to being the absolute worst, don't you think?
Such allegiance to crappiness was on full display over the weekend when one player spectating on a match stumbled across an enemy who was using some form of aim assist cheat to line up their shots and ensure they couldn't miss. I assume that was the plan, anyway.
As it turns out, whatever aimbot the cheater had installed wasn't quite working properly - as soon as their target had been downed and was ready for the final blow, the cheater just... missed. As you can see in the video below from optymista93, they managed to shoot everywhere except their target in an incredibly embarrassing display.
What this particular clip exposes is something that I think most of us already knew: the vast majority of cheaters in Warzone are legitimately bad at the game. "It's like that guys never aimed before in his life without using an aimbot," cackled one user on Reddit. Sure enough, as soon as the aimbot failed and the cheater had to rely on their own skill, they were swiftly and mercilessly killed.
Obviously an apparent lack of skill doesn't excuse people that don't play by the rules. I absolutely sucked at Warzone when I first started, but after hundreds of games with my friends? Now I only kind of suck - and I'm getting better all the time. Jumping into a multiplayer game you don't feel like you're very good at can be a little daunting, but installing cheats just ruins it for everyone else and makes you look a complete and utter chump - especially when you still manage to miss.
If you're craving more stories all about cheaters and their many feelings, allow me to point you in the direction of a Fall Guys hacker who somehow managed to completely fail during the final round and make a tit out of themselves. It's essential viewing, honest.
