Season 4 of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: Warzone is coming to a close, and developer Infinity Ward is seeing things off with a bang. This week's update, the last before Season 5 arrives on August 5th, is bringing back a number of popular modes - as well as a Double XP weekend.

Starting July 31st at 6pm BST, you'll be able to earn Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and progress through the Battle Pass tiers at twice the usual rate. This will be your last chance to get hold of everything in the Season 4 Battle Pass, so be sure to get stuck in this weekend and really make a dent in it before the Season 5 content drops.

In Warzone, this extra XP will be joined by the return of the Juggernaut Royale Quads mode. If you missed this limited-time mode the first time around, players fight it out across Verdansk as they would in a usual battle royale round. The twist is that you can track down and claim the incredibly powerful Juggernaut suit, becoming an incredibly powerful force to be reckoned with until an enemy squad can find a way to take you down.

At this point, a new Juggernaut suit drops somewhere else on the map, and the whole thing continues until everybody is good and dead. It's great fun. The Juggernaut mode will be joined by Battle Royale Duos, Solos, Trios, and Quads, as well as Blood Money Trios.

Meanwhile, Modern Warfare is bringing back two hugely popular playlists in the form of 24/7 Shipment and 24/7 Shoot House. These are joined by the new Deathmatch Domination TDM, in which players need to both hold objectives and get kills to add to the overall score and win the game. Sounds intense.

"In Deathmatch Domination, TDM gets an objective twist," Activision wrote in a blog post. "Capture and hold objectives and get kills to earn score for your team. You'll need more points than traditional Dom to claim victory, but in this mode objective players and slayers directly up your squad's score. In Drop Zone, if you want Killstreaks, you'll have to hold the objective while fighting off the other time. Collect those inbound Care Packages and use streaks to neutralise the other team."

Finally, you can get your hands on the usual raft of new cosmetic items via the in-game store. The Zane: Golden Idol bundle comes with two new legendary blueprints: the King's Highway assault rifle, and High Plains Drifter handgun. You can also nab a rare Ghostly Recollection blueprint, and a Spectrum bundle containing a new calling card and animated emblem.
