Some Call Of Duty: Warzone players have been confused to see cartoony skins in the battle royale, criticising developer Raven Software of copying Fortnite.

While jostling for elbow room in the genre, the two games have a lot of differences, with the former using realism to underpin its stories told in every Season - well, zombies might not be especially realistic but they are a staple of the series. On the other hand, Fortnite attracts a wide variety of players with joyful emotes and crossovers from Borderlands to Tomb Raider to Venom and more, meaning that the battlefield looks a lot like the floor of a bustling convention.

Some mimicry between games with the same premise is to be expected, yet, with the reveal of the new Panda Bulldozer Operator skins, a proportion of fans are not happy to see shades outside of khaki, brown, grey, and navy blue popping up in the very serious setting of Verdansk.

Check out MarleyThirteen poking fun at this pitiful Warzone hacker who was harassing him and his team with wall hacks and auto-aim. Seriously, when they get a taste of their own medicine, it is so, so sweet.

My opinion? The Panda Bear, Red Panda, and Pain Panda skins do look silly. At the same time, if someone was hunting me down with a malice that may only be found in a Liam Neeson film and that's how they were dressed, my last concern would be "they look silly." I'd be thinking more along the lines of "I'm going to die I'm going to die I'm going to die."

"CoD couldn't stick to their original theme and audience. God help us if [Battlefield 2042] doesn't too," said Reddit user SkarZer0. Bit melodramatic, but everyone's entitled to share their two cents on the additions to the game. Still, though some aren't that pleased about the creative skins, others love them. "As both a lover of red pandas and a fan of Bulldozer, this is absolutely my favorite skin ever," said Reddit user HeyoItsMrMayo. You can't deny that Raven Software hasn't found the target audience there, then.
