One tactical rifle to rule them all

New week, new Call of Duty: Warzone balancing issues, huh? If you've been playing the battle royale recently then you probably know about the new over-powered favourite, the DMR 14. The gun has been troubling players who come up against the tactical rifle as close to unbeatable and gamers have had enough. Raven Software has now confirmed that with the next patch for the game, comes changes not only to the DMR 14 but to a couple of other guns too.

We recently covered just how OP the DMR-14 has become. There are countless videos on Reddit of players either showing off wiping other gamers off the map with it or being killed in a second themselves. Even if the gun is OP, some of the videos are admittedly still pretty impressive. Now, however, a new tweet from Raven Software has confirmed that the gap between the DMR and other tactical rifles will close, as the next patch will be focussing on balance issues.

High accuracy, damage, range, and a pretty good fire rate on the gun combines to make it a deadly piece of kit at most ranges. Just watch out for snipers, we guess.

The devs on Twitter say, "Don't fret! We've heard you and a balance update is coming soon to address concerns about the DMR 14, Type 63, Mac 10, and dual pistols." Another tweet clarifies that the changes are coming to Warzone specifically. Obviously, the team has got enough complaints about the state of these weapons to start working out how to make them fairer in a fight.

Not only have we covered the OP DMR 14 before, but also the state of the Mac 10 which has been a solid SMG the past month or so. NickMercs and other streamers have been raving about how good the gun is in the game but alas, it looks like it'll be suffering at the hands of a nerf too.
