Whatever possessed god in heaven to make a game like Warzone?

It looks like Call Of Duty: Warzone may soon be taking full advantage of its new 1980s-themed map by introducing one of the era's greatest action movie icons. According to a recent teaser, none other than John Rambo will be joining the battle royale as a playable operator.

Fans have noticed that the official Call Of Duty Twitter account has sent out a few tweets that contain hidden references to Rambo. The first asks players if they've heard of "SURVIVORJOHN#1009062," before showing off some of his impressive stats.

As you can see below, this mystery player has 552 kills, zero deaths, seven hours played, five wins, and five games played. Twitter user ericmaynardII seems to have solved this particular mystery, and was quick to point out that Rambo racked up 552 kills across his five films, which come to roughly seven hours in length. This is either confirmation that Rambo is headed to Verdansk, or the biggest coincidence we've ever seen.

Not long after that, another tease was shared on Twitter. Retweeting a question from a fan asking if we might see any 80s action heroes to match the theme of Verdansk '84, the Call Of Duty account simply posted a "thinking face" emoji. Yeah, Rambo is definitely coming.

This wouldn't be the first time Activision has allowed Warzone to cross over with popular culture and cinema. Last Halloween, players were able to purchase a number of cosmetic bundles that included playable versions of Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Jigsaw from SAWSAW. Rambo would probably be the least strange addition to the game yet.
